Declaration of Generative AI

General Statement

This journal permits the limited use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a technical support tool in the preparation of manuscripts. The use of AI must not replace the author’s intellectual contribution, including critical thinking, scientific analysis, data interpretation, and conclusion drawing. All AI-assisted processes must remain under full human supervision and control.

Authors Responsibilities

Authors who use AI tools in the manuscript preparation process are required to:

  1. Disclose the use of AI transparently
Any use of AI must be clearly stated in the Declaration, Acknowledgment, or Ethical Statement section at the time of initial submission.
  2. Maintain full accountability for the manuscript
Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, validity, and integrity of the entire content of the article, including any portions assisted by AI.
  3. Ensure originality of scholarly work
The use of AI must not result in plagiarism in any form. Authors must ensure that AI-generated or AI-assisted text has been properly paraphrased, edited, and verified so that it does not substantially replicate existing scholarly works.
  4. Uphold research integrity
AI must not be used to fabricate, manipulate, or alter research data, results, or findings. All data and analyses must be reported honestly and transparently.
  5. Refrain from listing AI as an author
AI tools cannot be credited as authors or co-authors, as they lack legal and academic accountability.

Examples of AI Use Disclosure

When applicable, authors may include statements such as:

  • “This article used Grammarly as a tool to assist with grammar and spelling checks.”
  • “AI-based paraphrasing tools were used to support sentence rephrasing; all outputs were reviewed, edited, and verified by the authors.”

Similarity Check and Editorial Review

  1. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a similarity check using tools available within the OJS platform or third-party services.
  2. Editors and reviewers may assess whether the use of AI complies with this journal policy.
  3. Manuscripts that fail to disclose AI use transparently or violate publication ethics may be returned for revision, rejected, or withdrawn.

Compliance with Journal Policy

By submitting a manuscript to this journal, authors confirm that they have:

  • Read and understood this AI policy,
  • Complied with all publication ethics requirements, and
  • Accepted full responsibility for the content of the submitted article.
