Pengaruh Konseling Dengan Menggunakan E- booklet Terhadap Pengetahuan Dan Sikap Ibu Nifas Tentang Pemberian Asi Ekslusif di Klinik Romauli ZR Kec. Medan Marelan Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Breastfeeding in Indonesia in 2015 was 55.7% and if referring to the 2015strategic plan target of 39%, nationally the coverage of offering exclusivebreastfeeding to infants aged less than six months has achieved the target.According to the Medan City Profile (2016) obtained from 21 Districts in MedanCity, there are 1,589 (30.9%) babies who are exclusively breastfed and thereare 3,546 (69.1%) babies who are not exclusively breastfed while the targetsthat must be achieved are by 80%. Was to see the effect of counseling using e-booklets on the knowledge and attitudes of post-partum mothers aboutexclusive breastfeeding at the Romauli ZR Clinic, Medan Marelan district, NorthSumatra in 2020. Method: This is a quasi-experimental one group pretestposttest approach with total sampling technique with a total sample of 35postpartum mothers by providing counseling using e-booklets and distributingquestionnaires with univariate and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoxon test.Result: 35 respondents with less knowledge were 16 people (45.7%) andposttest had good knowledge of 32 people (91.4%) with a p value of 0.000. Asfor the attitude variable, it is known that the negative counseling pretest was18 people (51.4%) and the posttest counseling was done by 31 people (88.6%)with a p value of 0.000. Conclusion: there is an effect of counseling using e-booklets on the knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers aboutexclusive breastfeeding. It is hoped that health workers will improve healthservices and provide information to the public, especially post-partum mothers,about offering exclusive breastfeeding.
